Youth Athletes Creating a "PHENOM"

Welcome to " THE NOM, " where our persistent desire is to assist our communities’ youth in establishing a determined vision for continued achievement, excellence, motivation, and development through athletics and academics. We believe that through perseverance, discipline and extreme focus all our scholar/athletes goals can be attained and exceeded on every playing field of life, creating a "PHENOM ".

Why Phenom?

Back in 2002, David Joseph, started a track and field training program for his children. But eight years later, Phenom Athletics President and Founder, David Joseph, is providing training for Santa Clarita Valley's young athletes.  Student athletes of all ages not only learn track and field and/or speed and agility skills but more importantly they learn life skills. They learn to practice, to work hard, to work as a team, nutrition, friendship, winning and losing, service, confidence, personal development and much more.

   What is a Phenom?

     1.  A Remarkable or outstanding person

     2.  A Paragon; A model of excellence or perfection.

     3.  An occurance or fact that is only perceived by the senses.

Mission Statement

As an organization, our mission is to help Santa Clarita and the surrounding communities' youth establish a focus for excellence through our efforts of scholastic learning and athletic improvement/development through studies, D1 level training and competitive national exposure. For the purpose of academic and athletic success that will be translated over to their future educational, athletic and life endeavors.  It is our hope that we can help develop well-rounded, complete individuals for the 21st century. Thus, PHENOM is the housing of all such dedicated efforts on and off the track.  We transform all experiences into success for every individual.

Phenom's Motto

"The future is NOW...The future is ME!" is indicative of life, not just track and field.
